Cmentarz został założony w 1860r. Tuż przy cmentarzu znajduje się budynek, który pełnił niegdyś rolę domu pogrzebowego. Dziś stanowi on salę modlitw wyznawców Kościoła Zielonoświątkowego.

The cemetery was founded in 1860 and up to now, 140 gravestones have been preserved. Many of them have been damaged, however the grave of Fränkel family, which had a significant meaning for the town of Prudnik, is still to be found. Also, a memorial of Jews, who were killed in Prudnik in 1945 and imprisoned in concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau is to be found here. Next to the cemetery, there is the building, which used to be a funeral house. Today its function is the chapel of the Pentecostal Church.
