Lookout tower in Wieszcyna

Information

A wooden lookout, which is 15 m high, is situated in Wieszczyna touristic village, just a few kilometers southwest of Prudnik.  The tower is accessible all year long with no admission.

 

 

History

 

The tower is one out of two lookouts built in Prudnik area in 2009.

 

The construction of the tower was realized thank to Prudnik town and European Union financial support. The tower has got a roofed terrace, from which you have a beautiful view to Biskupská kupa (889 m above sea level), and nearby  Pokrzywna village with its surroundings.

 

Curiosity

Near by the lookout, a Youth School Center Wieszczyna, a branch of a Youth School Center Prudnik, is situated.
